Rom 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the original formation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Here is another verse that is spiritualized to understand a meaning, but it is due to a lack of knowledge of the scripture that the spiritualized answer is believed.
There are impostors claiming to be God’s people or the sons of God. So most think they know who is Israel today. However Romans 8:9 makes no sense if the sons of God are known. Nor does it make sense with the spiritualized answer as it has some people never mentioned in scripture as a new or replaced Israel. The answer is found in scripture.
Christ said, “My [Israel] sheep hear my voice and follow me [now and continuing].”
Numbers 6:27 “They shall put my name on the children of Israel”, Christ, Christian.
Romans 11:25 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Nations be come in.”
“Fullness of the Nations” is a quote for Ephraim. As scripture foretold, God’s people have forgotten their past, but are Christian today. Not some spiritualized fill-ins or people who hate Christ, but true physical Israel.
Isaiah 42:9 “Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
Nothing happens that God has not told His prophets. God never said that He would choose another people.
